The Kimmy de Rose

I was born Kimberly Rose.  Growing up, while he was alive, my paternal grandfather called me "Kimmy de Rose."  He was born in Arkansas, and even though he spent most of his life on the West Coast - first California, then Washington State - he maintained a slightly twangy accent.

I've lived my entire life on the West Coast, going the opposite route of Grandpa.  Who knows, maybe some day I'll move to Arkansas (highly unlikely, though I hear the state is lovely).  For now, though, I live in the Bay Area.  I've been hear for over five years now!  FIVE YEARS!  What was thought to be a possible 30 day adventure turned into a life in California.  I met my amazing husband here, we've purchased a house, and we have a puppy.  Will always be an advocate of adventures and taking risks in life.

Exploring California, and traveling in general, is something that I love.  I want to make sure that I remember where I go, keep track of places I want to go, and have a place for pictures and links. Hence this blog.
